The scam to create Aadhar Card has been launched on the basis of false evidence in Ahmedabad's Amraiwadi area. Both the accused have been arrested by the Amraiwadi Police.
Aadhaar card is important proof to avail of welfare schemes of the Central Government, but 2 persons have been arrested by the Amariwadi police for making Aadhaar card by creating a compulsory PAN card and election card at Xerox shop in Ahmedabad area of Ahmedabad. The accused, Sandeep Kantaria and Jignesh Kantaria, have been making base cards on the basis of false evidence at the Xerox shop in Sukhramanagar, Amraiwadi, for the past 3 months. The two accused have created more than 60 such false Aadhar cards in the last 3 months in a bid to make money.
In this regard, DCP Ravi Teja of Zone 5 of Ahmedabad City Police said, "We have to give evidence when we look at the form of Aadhaar card. Since many people have such evidence, these accused have raised their false evidence and made them base cards. He used to produce 0 Aadhar card with a price of Rs. 800 to Rs. 1000.
Surprisingly, the accused Sandeep Katheria and Jignesh Katheria both work as a basecard at the collector's office and on the night after making the Aadharcard, the laptop used for the Aadhar card at the Collector's office, with a fingerprint print machine on camera and a finger print machine. For about three months, the contractor had been making Aadhar card based on a fake document in which he made 50 cards.
